Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Southall.
Police were called at about 12:15pm on last Wednesday (25 May) to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Lady Margaret Road, close to the junction with Shackleton Road.
Officers, the London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
The pedestrian, a 31-year-old woman, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition. Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist police officers.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their ongoing investigation. There has been no arrest.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances. They are particularly keen to hear from any witnesses who saw the collision, or captured it on dash cam.
