Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after an assault in Uxbridge

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to an incident on Wednesday, 27th January to come forward.

Police Officers, Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance attended an incident on Vine Lane at approximately 6:15pm. A 52-year-old man was treated at the scene by medics before being taken to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and was taken into custody before being interviewed and released on bail to a date in late February.

Detective Constable Benazir Bhati, from West Area Command CID, said: “We are appealing to the public for more details about this incident. I urge anyone who witnessed the assault, or who has information, and in particular mobile phone footage, to come forward and speak with police if they have not already done so.”
