People lined Pield Heath Road outside of Hillingdon Hospital today (Wednesday 17th), to say goodbye to one of the nurses.
Lotwina Bowa, also known as Lottie, was an Intensive Care nurse for over 20 years at the hospital and was viewed as a “much loved exceptional nurse” by her former colleagues. Individuals were seen standing on the pavement and in the road as her funeral cortege passed by.
Former patient, Laura Mead, told Hillingdon Today: “Lotwina was a fantastic nurse and I am really sad she isn’t around anymore. She made a huge difference to me. She was one of my absolute favourite nurses. I used to get upset when they changed over every couple of days.”
