Last week, officers from the Yiewsley and West Drayton Safer Neighbourhood Team, supported by colleagues from Wood End, Charville, Heathrow Villages, and Uxbridge Town Centre Team, executed a search warrant at a local scrapyard suspected of involvement in the dismantling and exportation of stolen vehicles.
During the operation, specialised units assisted in gaining entry to a number of locked units within the premises.
The search resulted in the discovery and recovery of a stolen motorbike engine, adding to the evidence supporting the ongoing investigation.
In addition to the recovered engine, officers arrested one male on suspicion of immigration offences.
Enquiries into the matter are ongoing.
