On Sunday, June 23, 2024, at approximately 11:22pm, police responded to a report of a non-residential burglary on Park View Road in Colham Green. The incident unfolded when the property’s occupant, who was upstairs at the time, heard a noise from the rear garden.
Upon investigating the disturbance, the victim observed an individual removing a bicycle from the garden shed. Despite the victim’s attempts to deter the thief by shouting, the suspect managed to flee by jumping through neighbouring gardens.
Officers are urging anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
