Prolific offender from Ruislip jailed for parcel theft and handed five-year Community Behaviour Order banning him from multiple areas in Ruislip and Eastcote / Metropolitan Police Service

A Ruislip man has been jailed and issued with a five-year Community Behaviour Order following a series of thefts.

Reginald Housego, of Ruislip, was arrested by officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team in connection with the theft of parcels in Linden Avenue, Ruislip Manor. He was subsequently charged and sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment and ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge.

Housego, described by police as a prolific offender, was also made subject to a wide-ranging Community Behaviour Order by the courts.

Under the terms of the order, he is banned from entering any shop or commercial premises in England or Wales from which he is formally excluded. He is also prohibited from entering several key areas in Ruislip and Eastcote, including Victoria Road from Pembroke Road and Park Way to Cornwall Road and Chelston Approach (including Parkway to East Way); Ruislip High Street between Bury Street and Pembroke Road, and King Edwards Road from Ruislip High Street to Church Avenue; as well as Field End Road in Eastcote and the BP petrol station on Bury Street, Ruislip.
