Three Rescued in Northolt House Fire

A house fire on Kittiwake Road in Northolt saw four fire engines and around 25 firefighters battling the blaze in the early hours of yesterday morning (4 March).

The fire, which broke out at a terraced property, caused damage to the second floor. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus successfully rescued two people from the second floor using an internal staircase, while a third person was led to safety from the ground floor. All three were taken to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

London Fire Brigade’s Control Officers received the first emergency call at 05:34, mobilising crews from Northolt and Southall fire stations. Firefighters worked swiftly to bring the situation under control, with the incident declared over at 07:17.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
