Hillingdon Council is hosting a free afternoon of fun activities and entertainment at the Mayor's Picnic in the Park, taking place on Saturday, 11 July, from midday until 5pm, in The Closes park, West Drayton.
The Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Reeta Chamdal, will host the popular event, which promises a packed programme of live music, dance, and amusement for all ages.
The event's stage will feature a vibrant line-up of performers, including the Candy Girls, Hillingdon Music Service bands, the Queensmead School Band, and Bishopshalt School Steel Pans.
Visitors can also enjoy dance moves and acrobatics from various acts, including Freedom of Dance, AnyBodyCan Dance, Zumba Dance, and the GLL Gymnastics Group.
The afternoon will offer plenty of entertainment for children and families, with highlights including appearances by Elsa from Frozen, Optimus Prime from the Transformers, and Captain Fantastic.
Additionally, attendees can enjoy Punch and Judy shows, face painters, balloon artists, a climbing wall, an inflatable assault course, a mobile petting farm, and a fire engine. Hillingdon Libraries will also be present with a graffiti wall and mobile library.
Council teams will host information stalls, providing residents with the opportunity to learn more about local services, including libraries, children's services, and the youth and adolescence team.
