Our service started as a collaborative project between Harefield Radio and local residents who were tired of the lack of consistent local news coverage. A three-month trial project in late 2019 proved to be very popular with lots of positive comments from members of the community. The content from the original three-month trial has been archived on this website.
After seeking funding from a local company for the infrastructure needed to run this project, we are now pleased to bring you our service featuring the latest news and events throughout the towns and villages in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Harefield Radio is still very much part of the project and helps us with both newsgathering and media production. They also retain full rights to use all content on Hillingdon Today at no cost.
Other individuals, organisations and local media services are able to license our content and media for a modest cost. To make further enquiries, please email [email protected].
