Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a fail-to-stop collision in Southall.

Police were called at 12:29pm last Friday (3 February) to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction of North Hyde Lane and Raleigh Road.

The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 30s who was pushing a pram at the time, was taken to hospital. She remains in hospital having sustained injuries which have been assessed as not life-threatening but potentially life-changing.

Her next of kin have been informed. The baby wasn’t injured.

The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are taking place to locate them.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from any witnesses, or drivers who were in the area at the time with dash cam footage.
