Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Hillingdon.
Police were called at 3:12pm yesterday (14 March), to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle on Kingston Lane. It was reported the motorcyclist had collided with a lamppost.
Police attended along with paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance.
The rider, a man aged in his 40s, was found seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead at 6:55pm. The man’s family has been informed.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating. They would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam.
