Police have released the CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following a distraction theft in Rickmansworth.

Between 12.15pm and 12.45pm on Thursday 17 February, a woman was using a cash machine inside Barclays Bank on Church Street, when she was approached by a man who distracted her and stole her bank card. This was later used at another machine to withdraw several hundred pounds before it was cancelled.

PC Kieran Llewellyn, from Hertfordshire Constabulary, who is investigating, said: ā€œIā€™d like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in this image. He was in the area at the time of the incident and could help us with our enquiries.

ā€œI appreciate the man is wearing a face covering in the image, however someone may recognise him from his clothing and build and help us to identify him.ā€
