Detectives appeal for information following aggravated burglary

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after an aggravated burglary in Southall.

Police officers were called just before 7:30pm last Saturday (12 March) to reports of an aggravated burglary on Clarence Street in Southall.

Two males knocked on the door of an address and pushed their way into the property. The victim, a man in his 70’s, was assaulted and tied up inside his home.

The suspects fled the scene with a quantity of cash.

Both suspects are described as black males.

Sergeant Karen Thomas from the West Area Burglary and Robbery Team said: “This was a terrifying incident. We urge anyone who may have witnessed the suspects arriving or leaving the scene.  If you know who is responsible then I would urge you to come forward. We would also welcome any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist with our investigation
