A fire broke out yesterday afternoon (15 March) at Pinewood Studios on, what is believed to be, the set of a new Snow White live action film.

In a video shared on social media, the fire can be seen spreading quickly throughout the set.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue was called just after 3pm.

12 fire engines (including fire engines from Hillingdon and Southall fire stations), five fire officers, a control unit and drone attended the scene.  Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service also attended to support the multi-agency response to the incident.

The incident response was scaled back at around 7pm although one appliance and crew remained at the scene over-night to monitor for hot spots.

The studios are known for shooting well known films including James Bond, which has one of the sound stages named in its honour.

It is the second fire in recent months at the iconic studios. In November last year, a fire broke out in a workshop.
