Fire in disused West Drayton cabin

Three fire engines from Heathrow, Hillingdon and Feltham tacked a fire at a disused portable cabin on Stockley Road, West Drayton on Tuesday (5 October).

The cabin was destroyed by the fire. Two gas cylinders were removed and cooled to ambient temperatures, to prevent them from exploding, as they had been exposed to heat.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Firefighters were called at just after 4:30pm and the fire was under control by 5:45pm.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
