Around 25 firefighters and four fire engines from Hillingdon, Ruislip, Harrow and Northolt fire stations were dispatched to a bungalow fire on the High Road in Ickenham earlier today (27 April).
The blaze caused extensive damage to the property, with half of the ground floor affected and the roof being completely destroyed. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
The London Fire Brigade received a call at 9:48 this morning and fire the was finally brought under control at 10:57, almost an hour after the initial call.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
