A focused weekend of action in Hayes Town, organised in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police Special Constabulary, has delivered significant results in tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.

The joint effort, which took place over the weekend, led to multiple arrests, vehicle seizures, and enforcement actions against offenders.

Among the key outcomes were:

‣ Four e-bikes seized in response to illegal use.

‣ Two arrests for burglary.

‣ Three stop-and-search operations, helping to deter criminal activity.

‣ One community resolution issued for cannabis possession.

‣ Two stolen vehicles recovered (one motorcycle and one car).

‣ Four traffic offence reports issued to riders caught without insurance or driving outside the terms of their licence.

Special constables are volunteer police officers who play a vital role in making the community safer.

They have the same powers as a regular police officers and gain a tremendous amount of pride from giving back to the community.
