Orchard Hill College introduces accessible and inclusive nightclub for individuals aged 16+ with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / Orchard Hill College

Orchard Hill College, an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ specialist college with nine centres across London and Surrey, is launching ‘Club House Hillingdon’, a new monthly nightclub designed to be fully accessible and inclusive for individuals aged 16 and over with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The first Club House Hillingdon event will take place on Thursday, 27th February at 7pm at Brunel University. Featuring a live DJ, the nightclub promises a vibrant atmosphere where attendees can enjoy music, dancing, and socialising in a safe and welcoming environment.

The initiative was inspired, named, and branded by Orchard Hill College students themselves, reflecting their desire for more inclusive social opportunities. The aim of Club House Hillingdon is to foster friendships, provide new experiences, and create a strong sense of community for young people with SEND in Hillingdon and the surrounding areas.

The launch follows the success of the original Club House initiative in Sutton, which was introduced in 2023 in response to the lack of social opportunities for people with SEND. Held at Sutton United Football Club, the Sutton event has grown significantly, attracting large numbers of attendees and highlighting the increasing demand for inclusive nightlife options.

Orchard Hill College continues to champion accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that young people with SEND have meaningful opportunities to engage in social activities. With the expansion of Club House to Hillingdon, more individuals will have the chance to enjoy a fun and inclusive nightlife experience.
