Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Yeading.
Police were called at 6:51pm last Thursday (18 May) after a man was found injured in Reynolds Road.
Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. A man was found with stab injuries and later died at the scene.
Enquiries are taking place to identify the male and inform his next of kin.
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.
Detective Superintendent Figo Forouzan, from the local policing team in west London, said: “This is an incredibly sad incident that will understandably cause concern in the community. I’d like to reassure the public that we will carry out a thorough investigation to ensure those responsible are brought to justice.”
A post-mortem examination will take place in the coming days.
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist detectives is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6840/18May.
