Police are urging witnesses to come forward following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred yesterday (January 23) on the M25 in Buckinghamshire.
The incident took place at approximately 9:20am between junction 15 (Slough) and junction 16 (Uxbridge), involving a single vehicle, a blue Ford Kuga. Tragically, the driver, a 53-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The deceased’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers during this difficult time.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
Senior investigating officer PC Richard Lunn, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit at Thames Valley Police said: “Firstly our thoughts are with the family and friends of the driver at this extremely difficult time.
“We are appealing for anyone with information or witnesses that may have been at the scene and have not spoken to the police, to please get in touch.
“We are also appealing for anyone that may have dash-cam footage near the time of the collision.
