Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Mill End, Rickmansworth. The incident occurred in Uxbridge Road, at around 4.55pm on Wednesday 17 August.

It was reported that an altercation occurred between the male drivers of two vehicles, a Mercedes Vito and a silver Ford Focus.

One of the males was subsequently knocked unconscious and required stitches for a head injury.

Investigator Sian Smith, from the Three Rivers Local Crime Unit, said: “When the victim came back round, he was being assisted by an unknown member of the public who suggested he should seek hospital treatment.

“We’re keen to trace this person, as they may have information to assist our ongoing enquiries. Due to the assault, the male was unable to recall if the person was male or female.

“We’d also like to hear from anyone else who may have information about what happened. Did you see that assault, or the events leading up to it? It was reported that both vehicles had come from the BP petrol station before the incident occurred.

“If you can help, please get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference 41/67176/22.
