Police officers are appealing to the public for help in identifying a man in connection with fraud offences.
They are investigating thirteen incidents where a man arranged to purchase items for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
When meeting the sellers in person, the suspect uses a false driving licence and shows fake evidence of a bank transfer that he says he’s made to pay for the items. The man then walks away, without paying the sellers, with the items in his possession.
Items taken from victims at locations across London include mobile phones, cameras and gaming equipment.
The suspect has given a false address in the West Drayton area and has used the aliases Ben Hudson and Joshua Harris.
Met officers based in Camden and Islington are investigating and have released an image of a man they which to speak to in connection with the offences.
