Police Crack Down on Crime Across Hillingdon with Multiple Arrests

The Safer Neighbourhood Teams across Northwood, Ruislip and Eastcote have actively reduced crime over the past week by making several key arrests.

The Northwood Safer Neighbourhood Team had received a significant number of shoplifting reports in recent weeks. Last Friday (7 March), officers tracked down a prolific suspect while attending a Central London court. The individual was subsequently arrested once again for multiple offences.

On the same day, Ruislip Safer Neighbourhood Team responded to reports of a suspected shoplifter on High Street. Upon searching the female suspect, officers discovered a bank card and travel pass registered in other people’s names. The suspect was promptly arrested, with investigations ongoing.

In addition, while on patrol last week, officers from the Eastcote Safer Neighbourhood Team identified and arrested a wanted male. The suspect had been sought in connection with multiple theft offences.

The Safer Neighbourhood Teams hope these arrests underscored the ongoing efforts to combat repeat offenders throughout the borough.
