Police respond to stabbing on Uxbridge High Street

In a shocking incident, police responded to distressing reports of a stabbing on Uxbridge High Street yesterday afternoon (1 August).

Upon receiving the distress call, police officers rushed to the scene, accompanied by the London Ambulance Service, to provide urgent medical assistance to the victim, a 21-year-old man, who was subsequently rushed to a Central London hospital for treatment.

A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in relation to the incident. He has been taken to a West London police station for questioning. A crime scene is in place. Enquiries continue.”
