Police officers are actively investigating an assault that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, June 1, 2024, and are urgently seeking witnesses.
The incident took place on Packet Boat Lane between midnight and 4:00am. Police are specifically interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen a male dressed in a beige and grey tracksuit and a female in a beige or cream tracksuit paired with a leather jacket. Notably, the female’s clothing was covered in mud.
Additionally, investigators are keen to identify and speak with a white female with blonde hair who was wearing a purple jacket and may have been in the area at the time.
