Residents are being urged to take part in the March census by the council on Sunday 21st March. The once-a-decade survey for England and Wales is carried out by the Office for National Statistics and is a legal requirement to complete. Those who don’t risk a fine of up to £1000.
For the first time since record began, the census will be the first to be mainly online although the council will open for Census Support Centres to assist those who don’t have access to the Internet or have a computer or device. They will be located within the adult education centres in Brookfield, Harlington, South Ruislip and the Civic Centre.
