The seventh COVID-19 testing site for Hillingdon residents has opened at Sipson Community Centre, bringing the total number of testing sites in the borough up to seven, allowing all residents to have a local testing centre. The site is specifically for anyone who is not displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

Cllr Ian Edwards, Leader of Hillingdon Council said: “We’re testing and vaccinating more people every month, but it’s important that we don’t get complacent.

“Even if you don’t have symptoms, you can still have the virus and unwittingly be passing it on to your loved ones. So, getting tested when you’re asymptomatic remains vital. And while many people have been vaccinated across the borough, it’s still important to get regularly tested as a precaution.

“It’s simple and easy, but most importantly, you’re protecting yourself, your loved ones and those around you, by helping break the chain of infection and stopping the virus spreading.”
