Residents of Orchard Waye were left shocked after a shed burglary was reported last Wednesday (12 April).
The suspect is believed to have gained access to the rear of the property by jumping over the fence where the shed door had been forced open using a crowbar. Fishing equipment worth approximately £1000 was reported stolen from within.
The victim has stated that CCTV footage captured a male suspect knocking on the front door who then disappeared out of view and was last seen heading to the side of the property. Unfortunately, no footage of the actual break-in was captured.
The police are urging anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area on that day to come forward. If you have any information that may assist with the investigation, please call 101 quoting crime reference number 0908090/23.
