Police are appealing for information after a woman was harassed by a man in a car while walking in Horton last Tuesday (6 May) morning.
The incident occurred at around 8am on Mill Lane, to the west of Heathrow, when a blue Vauxhall Zafira pulled up alongside the woman. The driver repeatedly urged her to get into his car while continuing to drive slowly beside her, blocking traffic in the process.
The man then drove ahead to the Golden Cross roundabout, stopped, and again asked her to get in. A lorry driver who had been held up behind the car intervened, asking the woman if she was okay. When she replied that she wasn’t, the suspect drove off.
The driver is described as an Asian man in his forties with black hair and a beard.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
Investigating officer, PC Megan Gomm, from Thames Valley Police, said: “This was a concerning incident which has had an impact on the victim.
“We are carrying out an investigation to trace this individual.
“We are appealing to anyone who was driving on Mill Lane on Tuesday morning at around 8am to come forward, particularly if they have dash-cam footage of the incident.
“Additionally we would ask the lorry driver who stopped to check on the victim to also come forward.
